DEC 2014
2014 was an exciting and momentous year for us.
The highly anticipated opening for the Ismaili Centre was a momentous occasion and we were very happy to be there for the celebrations of this landmark project. The opening ceremonies hosted by the AgaKhan for dignitaries and guests from around the world were covered by a live-simulcast on CBC and featured in newscasts and journals worldwide.
It was a special summer, marked by a great world cup tournament and lovely summer trip in Provence. We had a chance to visit our new project site located in the lovely French country side near Mont Blanc.
Projects are underway for residences in Oakville, King City, Rosedale, and York Mills as well as retreats in Collingwood, and Minden. Our two makeover projects with Suzanne Dimma were published in House&Home along with video posts. We also took the opportunity to collaborate with Mildred’s Temple to create a unique ‘bird house’ made of sugar to raise money for Children’s Aid Foundation.
This month we are exited see the short film ‘The Essence of Things’ created by the very talented team at This Fair Land. Adam Reid and Kristen Lehman did a wonderful job capturing our thoughts and experience in their film about our Off-The-Grid cottage.
Best wishes for the holiday season to all our collaborators, clients, and friends for your great support. We look forward to a bright, joyous and wonderful year for 2015.
